A Raleigh salon is staying open all day and night to help children in need.

Hair stylists at Blo will work in shifts over 24 hours starting Sunday to raise money for SAFEchild during the fifth annual "SNIP, SNIP, GIVE 24-Hour Cut-A-Thon."

All of the money raised from haircuts, retail and raffle sales will go to SAFEchild, a local non-profit dedicated to eliminating child abuse.

The event begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday and runs through 8 a.m. Monday. There is a $40 minimum donation.

Appointments can be booked by calling (919) 484-8600. Walk-ins are also welcome.
