North Raleigh Presbyterian Church hosted its 11th annual yard sale Saturday.
About 500 shoppers attended this year’s yard sale, looking for the best finds.
The church hopes to raise between $8,000 and $10,000. That money will then go to local and international charities. The Church uses most of the money to help during disasters and emergencies.
"You go to flea markets and it's just hunt and peck and its everybody out for themselves, but there is a spirit of cordiality that exists in here and I think that's one of the reasons people come back year after year and say, 'This is one of our favorite yard sales,” said Suzy Lippard, co-coordinator.
The event was from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church on Strickland Road.
