Clayton Police have arrested two local teens accused of breaking into several vehicles on Jan. 18.
Mark Linker, 17, and Tyler Hall, 16, are both charged with 15 felonious counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and 15 misdemeanor counts of larceny.
Clayton Police were called to the Riverwood Athletic subdivision Wednesday around 3 a.m. concerning reports of two suspicious people breaking into parked vehicles.
Police say when they arrived, they saw two teens run into the woods. After an extensive ground search, police found and arrested the suspects.
Officers say they seized two backpacks containing GPS devices, iPods and other electronic items. Police say the stolen items have been returned to the owners.
Police say all the victims left their car doors unlocked. Police continue to urge everyone to lock their doors and secure valuables left inside.
