West Johnston student hit by car while catching the bus

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. --

A West Johnston High School student was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Thursday morning.

School officials say the student was hit as the student was crossing Old Fairgrounds Road to board bus 149.

The student was transported to WakeMed with unknown injuries and no other details were provided.
