A Raleigh teen at the wheel of an SUV involved in a wreck that killed Millbrook High School student Elizabeth Molloy, was very drunk, according to a report released Tuesday.

The medical examiner’s report showed, Garrett Prince had a blood alcohol level of .29, which is three times more than the legal limit, .08.

The report also revealed that Molloy, the passenger, had a blood alcohol level of .12.

Prince lost control of a 1999 Jeep and crashed into a tree at Rainwater and Spring Forest roads on Jan. 7. Molloy died from a blunt force trauma due to the accident.

Prince is charged with felony death by vehicle, driving while impaired, provisional DWI, possession of marijuana and having unsealed alcohol in his Jeep.

Police said Prince was traveling 75 miles per hour at the time.

Four others have been charged in Molloy’s death, including 21-year-old Anthony Du Juan Geter and 17-year-old Samantha McKinney, who are accused of purchasing spirituous liquor. Geter is accused of buying two 1.75-liter containers of rum at the ABC store on Sandy Forks Road. McKinney is also accused of helping to buy the alcohol.

Hannah Smith, 18, who lives on Hawksmoor Drive in Raleigh, has been charged with hosting an underage party on Jan. 6. Molloy and 16-year-old Garrett Prince attended that party, according to police.

Prince has since bonded out of jail, and was not at his home for comment.
