The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating the report of a kidnapping of two Hispanic men on Sunday night at approximately 10:30p.m.
The victims were stopped by a white SUV, possibly an Expedition on Leonard Drive, off of New Hope Road. The victims stopped their vehicle after the suspect vehicle turned on blue, yellow and red lights, making the victims think the suspect vehicle was a law enforcement officer.
Once the victim's stopped, six suspects wearing normal clothing and face masks took the two male occupants out of the car by gun point, put them in the suspect vehicle and left with them.
The suspects are possible one white male and 5 Hispanic males.
The two people kidnapped are identified as Geniro Jamis, 48, and Israil Aguirre, 24. Aguirre has been released.
