A hearing Monday morning to determine the future of Durham County District Attorney Tracey Cline was delayed.
Cline had been suspended after complaints that she can't do her job professionally.
Cline filed a motion to delay the hearing on Friday and a judge granted that motion Monday morning. She told the court she needed more time to find an attorney _ and was sick with pneumonia for a week.
She appeared at the Monday hearing, without much of a voice. She refused to answer questions from NBC-17 as she left the courtroom.
Late last month, Cline was suspended after defense attorney Kerry Sutton filed a complaint about Cline's lack of professionalism.
Cline has also clashed with Superior Court Judge Orlando Hudson.
NBC-17's Jonathan Carlson spoke to Cline in an exclusive interview in September, when she defended her record.
"People can say anything, and that's what's so hurtful ... is that you can say anything about anybody without anything to back it up," Cline said.
The hearing will now be held on Feb. 20.
