Current and future engineers looking for a job can get face-to-face with employers Thursday at NC State.
The College of Engineering is holding a career fair with big names like Apple and Microsoft.
Over the past decade, Brian Koehler has seen the engineering job fair trend with the economy.
"In the past during a bad economy, the companies would truly have the pick of the lot of the students because the students would only have one or maybe two job offers on the table," said Koehler. "Now we're starting to see various students get more than those single job offers."
More than 200 employers and hundreds of job seekers from across the country are expected to attend.
"This may be a sign once again that we are entering a new time for companies because they do want to recruit tremendously," said Koehler.
The bi-annual job fair is in its 15th year. It's being held Thursday at the McKimmon Center from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The job fair is free and open to the public.
In December the unemployment rate increased in 93 counties in North Carolina.
