Clay Aiken is set to perform the national anthem at the Durham Bulls game on May 9.
DAP officials confirm that the "American Idol" runner-up will perform before the start of the 2nd annual Back to the DAP game against the Indianapolis Indians.
"We're extremely happy to have Clay with us again for such an important night," said Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling.
The first time Aiken performed at the DAP was in 2003. He had just made it to the Top 3 on "American Idol" and was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and then sang the Star-Spangled Banner.
Tickets for the May 9 game at the DAP are available online or by calling (919)956-BULL.
